Ciny AI

GEO services for the facts AI answers draw on.

Clear facts, citable source content and the right index access, so ChatGPT search, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot have accurate material to work from.

Generative engine optimisation. No mention or citation is guaranteed.

What GEO means at Ciny.

Generative engine optimisation (GEO) is the work of making your business easy for AI answer engines to understand and cite accurately, through clear source content and facts that stay consistent wherever they appear.

ChatGPT search, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot build answers from pages they can retrieve. GEO cannot decide what those answers say. It improves the material they work from, and it reports only what can be observed.

What we work on
for generated answers.

Each job improves what an engine can retrieve, quote and check about your business.

The AI Search service

Entity and business clarity

One accurate description, everywhere.

Your services, people and evidence named the same way on your site and on the profiles you control, so an answer can say what you do and who it is for.

  • Delivered by the Ciny team

Citable source content

Sentences an answer can quote.

Articles open with one citable definition, then original data, a worked example and a labelled opinion. A person reviews each piece before release.

  • Running in Brand Social

Bing and crawler access

Readable where AI search looks.

Bing indexing checked in Bing Webmaster Tools, plus robots rules for search crawlers such as Bingbot, OAI-SearchBot and PerplexityBot.

  • Delivered by the Ciny team

From scattered facts
to source material.

Four stages, agreed in scope and reviewed by a person at each one.

How delivery works
  1. Describe the business once

Agree the names, services, audiences and exclusions every page and profile should repeat, then fix the places that disagree.

  2. Write source sentences

Give each topic a definition worth quoting, backed by your own data, a worked example and a clearly labelled point of view.

  3. Open the doors

Confirm Google and Bing can crawl and index the pages, and that robots rules let AI search crawlers read them.

  4. Sample, then report

Run an agreed set of prompts on agreed engines and dates, record what each answer says and report it beside Search Console data.

What GEO reporting can show, and what it cannot.

Generated answers vary by prompt, session and location. We report observations with their method, not a visibility score.

GEO, SEO and AEO.
Where GEO differs.

GEO shares its foundations with SEO. The difference is where the result appears and how it is checked.

  • GEOvsSEO

SEO earns a place in a list of links. GEO concerns what a generated answer says about you and whether it names your page as a source. The groundwork is shared.

  • GEOvsAEO

AEO shapes one page to answer one question. GEO looks across your whole footprint, so an engine combining many sources finds the same facts about you.

  • GEOvsAI Overviews

AI Overviews are a single Google feature that follows Google's rules. GEO also covers engines such as ChatGPT search, Perplexity and Copilot, which retrieve and cite in their own ways.

Ruh AI is where the content structure runs first.

Ciny runs Ruh AI's search and content marketing, and its article drafts are planned around the citable structure described here. The figure on the card is an organic lead count, not an AI citation figure.

What buyers ask about GEO.

What do generative engine optimization services include?

At Ciny, four things: a clear and consistent description of your business, citable source content, Bing and crawler access checks, and reporting on what can be observed. The exact scope is agreed before work starts.

Can a GEO agency guarantee that ChatGPT will mention us?

No. Each engine decides what to say and which sources to cite, and answers change between sessions. Be wary of any GEO agency that promises a mention. We agree the work and how it will be checked.

How do you measure GEO?

With what can be observed: Search Console data, the Bing Webmaster Tools AI performance report reviewed by our team where you grant access, and sampled prompt checks using agreed prompts, engines and dates. Bringing Bing citation data into our dashboards is in build, and automated answer monitoring is planned.

Do we need an llms.txt file for GEO?

Google says its AI features need no special file or markup. Other engines publish their own crawler rules, which we check during scoping. Clear content and open crawl access matter more than any extra file.

Why does Bing matter for GEO?

Microsoft Copilot draws on Bing, and ChatGPT search has relied on Bing as one of its search providers. A page Bing cannot crawl or index is harder for those answers to find, so we check Bing alongside Google.
