What link building means at Ciny.

White-hat link building at Ciny is the work of earning links from relevant, independent websites by giving each one a genuine reason to link, such as a useful page, original data, expert commentary or a fix for a broken link or an unlinked mention.

Domain Rating (DR) is a score from Ahrefs that summarises the strength of a site's backlink profile, and it tends to rise as relevant, well-linked sites link to you. Google does not use it, so treat it as a scorecard for the work, never as the goal.

Four kinds of work.
One reason to link.

Research finds the openings, assets give sites a reason to link and people handle every message.

What we never do

Opportunity research

Where a link already makes sense.

Our automation finds listicles and roundups that name your competitors but not you, plus unlinked brand mentions. The team handles broken link building and resource pages by hand.

Linkable assets

Pages other sites want to cite.

Useful guides, original data from your own work and expert commentary from your team. We plan them with you, and nothing is published without your approval.

Link building outreach

One pitch per site, sent by a person.

The automation drafts a pitch for each opportunity. A person checks the fit, rewrites it for that site and sends it from their own mailbox. Nothing is sent automatically.

Digital PR

Findings and comment worth covering.

Our digital PR services start from your own data and expertise, offered to the editors and journalists who cover your field. A person reviews every pitch before it goes out.

  • Delivered by the Ciny team

From an audit
to links you can check.

Six steps. The automation finds and drafts, and people review, rewrite and send.

How delivery works
  1. Audit links and pages

Review the links you already have in Search Console and find the pages on your site that deserve more of them.

  2. Find the opportunities

The automation looks for listicles, roundups and unlinked brand mentions. The team adds broken links and resource pages.

  3. Draft one pitch per site

The automation drafts a pitch for each opening. It names one page and explains why linking to it helps that site's readers.

  4. Review, rewrite and send

A person checks the site and the draft, rewrites it for that site and sends it from their own mailbox. Weak fits are dropped.

  5. Record what is earned

Log each link with the page it sits on, the page it points to and the date it was found.

  6. Report and adjust

Report earned links alongside Search Console data, then spend more time on the kinds of opportunity that got replies.

What we never do,
and why.

Google's spam policies treat these as link spam. Sites that use them can rank lower or drop out of results.

Read Google's link spam policy
  • Paid links

No buying or selling links that pass ranking credit, whether for money, goods or a free product.

  • Private blog networks

No PBNs, and no sites built only to link to you.

  • Link exchanges

No “link to me and I will link to you” swaps, and no partner pages made only to cross-link.

  • Automated or bulk outreach

No mass email, scraped lists or software that sends for you. A person sends every message.

  • Keyword-rich anchors

We never ask for keyword-rich anchor text. The linking site chooses its own wording, and we run no guest posting campaigns built around anchors.

  • Hidden or template links

No links planted in widgets, site footers, comments or forum signatures to manipulate rankings.

Paid adverts and sponsorships are fine when their links carry rel="sponsored", which tells Google the link is paid so it should not pass ranking credit.

Domain Rating, explained honestly.

DR is useful once you know what it measures, and what it does not.

What it is
A score from 0 to 100 for the strength of a website's backlink profile, compared with the other sites Ahrefs has crawled. The scale is logarithmic, so each point is harder to gain the higher a site sits.
Who publishes it
Ahrefs. Moz publishes a similar score called Domain Authority (DA). Each tool uses its own index and formula, so the two numbers rarely match.
Does Google use it?
No. DR and DA are third-party estimates. Google does not use either to rank pages, so a higher DR is not a ranking factor in itself.
Why it still helps
It is a quick, consistent way to compare link profiles and to see whether earned links are adding up over time.
What actually moves it
Followed links from more distinct websites, especially sites that are well linked themselves. A rise can lag behind the work, and DR can fall when links to you are removed.

What we report, and what we will not promise.

Every earned link is listed with its source page, so you can check it. Third-party scores are labelled.

SaaS link building, and construction.

Ciny's experience is B2B technology. Through Ruh AI, which markets construction software, it extends to construction.

  • Link building for SaaS

Software companies already hold what other sites cite: product data, integration guides, fair comparisons and the views of their engineers. SaaS link building turns those into pages worth a link.

    SaaS marketing
  • Construction

Ruh AI markets construction software to estimators and general contractors. Software lists, estimating guides and trade roundups are typical places for a construction brand to earn a link.

    Construction marketing

On Ruh AI's construction topics, the automation finds the openings and drafts the pitches. People do the rest.

We publish no link counts or Domain Rating figures for Ruh AI. Its case study covers organic leads, not links.

How do you increase Domain Rating?

Earn followed links from more distinct, relevant websites, especially ones that are well linked themselves. That means pages and data worth citing, turning unlinked mentions into links and offering your page where a broken link once pointed. DR is Ahrefs' score, not Google's, so treat a rise as a sign the work is adding up.

Do you buy links or use PBNs?

No. We do not buy or sell links, use private blog networks, swap links or send automated outreach. Google's spam policies treat all of these as link spam, and they can cost a site its rankings.

How many links will we get?

We do not promise a number. It depends on how useful your pages are and how relevant the sites are, and each site's editor decides whether to link. That is why no link building agency can honestly guarantee a monthly count. We report every link earned, with its source page and date.

Is link building safe with Google?

Earning links is. Google uses links to find pages and judge relevance, and its spam policies target links that are bought, swapped, automated or placed to manipulate rankings. Every link we pursue is one a site's editor chooses to give.

How long until links make a difference?

There is no fixed timeline. A new link has to be found and crawled before search engines count it, and replies to outreach can take weeks. Judge the work over months, alongside your Search Console data, rather than week by week.

Send your site and three competitors. We review your current links and agree the scope before any outreach starts.
